November 2001
The RTM-01-RES microwave imaging system was demonstrated
in the 1st International Symposium “Quantum Medicine
and New Medical Technology” held in Slovenia, Bled. The report was
made by Dr. Romen Avagyan. “The breast cancer…” he said. He outlined
the important difference between infra-red thermography reading
the skin temperature and microwave radiometry for the internal temperature.
Dr. Avagyan announced results of clinical trials showing that RTM-Diagnosis
is effective for detection of proliferative fibroadenoma and mastopathy.
The use of RTM-Diagnosis in urology was discussed
during the round table discussion by professor Vladimir P. Avdoshin.
He impressed that RTM-Diagnosis is a very effective method for diagnostics
of kidney disorders. More detail information about his investigation
will be published soon.

RES has
published the Third Part of the Lectures on RTM-Diagnosis in Russian.
The Lecture is devoted to the practical issues and features of RTM-Diagnosis.
The Lecture describes the method for performing breast RTM-Diagnosis,
shows examples of temperature pattern of various diseases. The key
subject of the book is breast cancer diagnosis with microwave radiometry.
All cases are commented and illustrated. The lecture can be useful
for beginners as well as for doctors who are experienced in microwave
radiometry. Now RES is editing the English version of the Lecture.

August 2001
The
Scientific Department of RES has developed a small sensor for internal
temperature (its diameter is 23 mm). The sensor can be used for performing
RTM-Diagnosis in children and for examination, e.g. the spine, the
kidneys, the thyroid, etc. The sensor is compatible with all models
of RTM-01-RES. It is extremely easy to install the new sensor.
For further information on a new sensor and sale terms call as at

July 2001
RES
has finished the last stage of development and has launched production
of a new model of RTM-01-RES microwave computer-based radiometer.
In the new model all parts of the radiometer is interchangeable. This
feature makes technical support and services more comfortable and
easier.

June 2001
AMG,
an exclusive distributor of RTM-01-RES systems, has opened its clinic
in Poole. One of the offered services is breast screening with the
RTM-01-RES computer-based radiometer. The procedure
is completely harmless, comfortable, safe and appropriate for women
of any age. Tony Scott-Morley, chairman of AMG, stresses that the
main purpose of the breast screening is not to make a final diagnosis,
but detect any anomaly in the breast.

Microwave
Radiometry for Diagnosis of Muscular - Articular Disorders in Patients
with Cervicogenic Headache in Russian Scientific & Practical
Conference "Clinical and Theoretical Aspects of Pain. They represented
the results of investigations conducted in SSC for Laser Medicine.
The purpose of works was evaluation of possibility to use microwave
radiometry to diagnose muscular - articular disorders of neck in patients
with cervicogenic headache. The studies have shown that RTM is promising
for diagnosing muscular-articular disorders in patients with headache.
