Pavlova L.S. and Poliakov V.M.
in their work used microwave radiometry for diagnosis of acute pyelonephritis.
They compared the average internal temperature measured at the projection
of the kidney and mean-square dispersion of internal temperature in the
diseased and healthy kidneys. Their investigations have shown that an
average temperature of the diseased kidney lowers, but a temperature dispersion
increases considerably.
The clinical trial has shown
that RTM-01-RES is useful for diagnosis of kidney diseases and for estimating
treatment results. At present RES is developing a rectal sensor for the
detection of prostate diseases.
