Clinical Trial Protocols of RTM-01-RES

The RTM-01-RES radiometer has undergone clinical trials on breast cancer detection at leader Moscow scientific centers

Russian Scientific Center for X-ray-radiology

  • 79 patients were examined
  • 30 (38%) of them are cancer patients

The Branch #1 of the Moscow Mammology Health Center

  • 771 patients were examined
  • 101 (13%) of them are cancer patients
  • Breast cancer detective ability is 85.1%
  • Specificity is 76.5%

The Municipal Hospital #40

  • 43 patients were examined
  • 35 (76%) of them are cancer patients
  • Breast cancer detective ability is 94.2%
  • Specificity is 77.7%

The Russian Oncological Institute under the Science Center of the Russian Academy of Medicine Sciences

  • 81 patients were examined
  • 48 (60%) of them are cancer patients
  • Breast cancer detective ability is 89.6%
  • Specificity is 81.8%

Head of the Burdenko Major Clinical Hospital

Basing on the results of clinical trials the Committee on New Medical Techniques of The Ministry of Public Health and Medical Industry recommended the serial production and use of the RTM-01-RES radiometers in medical practice.

Also clinical trials have been conducted at the Center Scientific-Research Skin & Venereal Institute, where abilities of RTM-01-RES to diagnose adnexitis and monitor treatment were estimated, and at the Institute of Cybernetic Medicine on diagnosis kidney diseases.

On May 2005 the Russian Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Scientific Center received the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Condition and Development of the Russian Federation Mammalogical Service”.

At the Showroom of inventions and new technologies in Geneva lasted from 6 April till 10 April 2005 Slovenian medics together with Russian scientists (Ivan Zrimzek “MOGY” and Sergey Vesnin “RES Ltd”) presented a method for early detection of mastopathies (radiothermometry) based on the noninvasive measuring of interval tissues' temperature.

At the present time the diagnostics of mastopathies is one of the actual problem that's why the need to create new techniques for diagnosing and monitoring breasts condition isn't in doubt.
